After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1985 from Methodist University (Methodist College, then) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Lisa joined McFadyen & Sumner CPAs upon graduation and became a partner with the firm in 2007. Having specialized knowledge in business development and small business retirement plans, Lisa has provided tax, accounting, and business consulting services over the years to clients of all sizes in a variety of industries.
When TRP CPAs and McFadyen & Sumner CPAs merged in 2020, Lisa continued to serve as a valued board member with the newly formed firm, TRP Sumner PLLC. In 2024, Lisa retired from the Board at TRP Sumner after a successful career of 40 years. She is still actively working on a part-time basis assisting with tax preparation and review.
Lisa lives in Eastover, NC with her husband, Ronnie. They both enjoy spending time traveling and visiting historical sites, similar to their own historical museum site, Oak Grove Plantation. She loves all types of music and singing together with Ronnie at church events as well as working with the children’s music ministry.
